We have a new help page for some common problems that occur when trying to import contacts from a CSV file in to Web Mail.

Importing Contacts - Troubleshooting

We're working on making the import feature more robust and easier to use, and particularly on providing more helpful error messages when things go wrong. In the meantime, if you are having trouble then the suggestions at the link above may help.

Every time I log into my email the opening page asks if I want it to remember me on this computer. It never does. I have no idea why. Every once in a while it remembers miredmax@earhtlink and then it forgets it. It always forgets the password.

I had one of your people in a live chat try to fix it, but he couldn't. I am tired of it. I am very seriously thinking of going back to AOL. They were terrible in some ways, but the email always remembered the password.

Thanks so much for putting up the comments on importing CSV files to webmail address book.
It's 12:36 a.m.; I tried to import and Outlook CSV file I'd created, late tonite (based on tip about 'time outs' occurring during peak server volume), and I still get this message:

The address book is temporarily unavailable. Please try back soon.

I even tried selecting a different option for handling 'duplicates' just to see if it would import the file, but same message:
The address book is temporarily unavailable. Please try back soon.

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Contact size is 1000 (thus I waited till late to try)

I have a spelling error in my web mail account name. Can you tell me how to go about correcting it?

Click Preferences / Web Mail Options and scroll to the bottom. Edit it there and click Save.
